once i had a programm which allowed me to use every resolution i wanted although i couldn't select it in the game, but me idiot has lost it.
i wanna use the resolution 1280x1024 but the biggest i can choose on my laptop is 1024x768.

i've found another way to change the resolution explained here: http://forum.team17.com/showthread.php?t=21140

LE: i see it's laptop , and i wonder if 1280x1024 is native resolution... rare lapops have non wide resolution. If it's mainstream 15,4'' notebook then is should be starting from 1280x800 ...

Even my clock at morning sounds ''tac-tic'' instead of ''tic-tac''.
whoops, haven't seen your reply till now, sorry. ><
grafic card: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 7500
modus: 1024x786 32bit shade
more informations: 60 Hz, 96 dpi
ah, i see "supported resolutions":
but there isn't 1280x1024 in the list, highest is 1024x768
there must be a way to show the game in 1280x1024! hope so...

you don't seem to read what i write
I saied that i seriously doubt the fact that your laptop's display has native resolution more than 1280x800 if it's a 15'4, at most 1600x1050. And for sure your display it's wide ... so just tell me if it's 15,4 ...

LOL... then you can't have the resolution 1280x1024 because it's a wide 16:10 aspect ratio display.
As i saied, your native resolution must be 1280x800. So if wa doesen't suport wide resolutions the closest resolution to your native one is the 4:3 non wide, 1024x768. Problems solved
