Season 1 Play-offs: Winner Mablak

Note: play-offs do not have silver and bronze medals, it is a cup.

As explained in the "season/overall beta" topic, rather than seasons this is a short-term constantly on-going ranking where the games you play are voided after 90 days, and every 3 months the 8 players that are at the top at that exact moment are selected to fight for one cup in a knock-out system. If one of the top 8 players can't enter the play-offs (because he doesn't want to or because he is not allowed to as a penalty) then the next one in the ranking will take his place so that the 9th in the ranking will be taking the place of number 8.
The exact moment when the play-off players will be chosen is (as stated long time ago) March 31th at 23:59:59 GMT . This play-off is a knock-out system where the top 8 players at that moment will fight for one cup (not a tournament with silver and bronze medals, it's a cup where only the winner gets it) where all the games will be played to 3 victories (a best of 5 games) and the final will be played to 4 victories (a best of 7 game). Also who has to play whom depends on their places in the ranking (using the top vs bottom arrangement).
The time limits are not perfectly defined yet, but (as Ramone quoted) let's give peace a chance and see how well things go on. If you are selected for the play-offs you are supposed to play at least one play-off game every week.
Each play-off game will not only count as a cup game but also as a regular league game for the new season and, at least by now, they will be reported here, in this thread (uploading the replays is, in this case, an obligation, including tied and incomplete rounds).
Also, at the moment the 8 cup players are selected, a "screenshot" of the ranking at that moment will be taken and saved in the "history" part of the league page, showing the performance of the players during that 3-months period (for this first season rather than 3 months it's 84 days, because it started the 7th of January and not the 1st).
