The worst starting positions!:D

Post by Koras »

In this thread you can upload your most unlucky rounds. I mean unlucky starting positions of course and not the bad luck that happened later on. Please don't upload rounds where you lost 2 or 3 worms during first turn, because this is almost standard situation on island maps.

There is my round:

wow that's bad! he missed a kill on first turn, but still ALL of your worms are on the bottom of the map.
wriggle intransitive verb: to move the body or a bodily part to and fro with short writhing motions like a worm

Oh hell, I had one too, with 7 worms of me on one girder bridge, he killed all of them with Kamikaze, but I cannot find it at the moment.

Oh hell. 3 worms under a bridge at the bottom of the map, and a double kill in the beginning. Awesome.

As i told you... you could have won it, especially due to the fact that it;s a cave.

1-Long bridges + open islands suck. I always check the map preview and remove the bridges if I see that there will be such sucky bridges as here.

2-Sorry, but KinslayeR's placement was as bad (or even worse) as your ^^.

Attached one counter option (the less expensive and more risky one).
Could also use a rope with zokySMOKI, hide him, use the third select to matea and do the double kill with shotgun and low gravity.

With the second option you end up needing 7 easy turns to kill all his lasting worms, he ends up needing 8 turns (2 of them rather hard) to kill all your lasting worms. Also an even number of utilities (though you'd have no more worm selects, you can be careful not to let him pile you and the map is really open, so worm selects are not really useful later in the match), one of his worms trapped and 3 that can't attack without using a rope.

I hope it helps :).

BUT totally dissagre there after first tourn Zoky had 2 piles and rest 3 worms easy to kill= 0 hide worms!

Koras, with your same logic I could say that KinslayeR had 3 dead worms in the first turn, but guess what, it was not Zoky's turn. When you say that Zoky had 2 piles and 3 easy to kill worms you are not considering that it's not KinslayeR's turn, it's the turn of Zoky, and he can move his worms ^^.
